Centurion acquires London site for $75m
The firm plans to develop a 225-bed student accommodation.
Centurion Overseas Investments acquired a site at William Road in London for £43.46m ($75m) for the development of a 225-bed purpose-built student accommodation (PSBA).
The acquisition of the property, which comprises Willian Road 17-33 and 35-37, is in line with Centurion Corp. Limited’s strategy of adding student accommodations in the United Kingdom.
Lot 35-37 is proposed to be redeveloped into a 225-bed PBSA with a mix of studio units and en suite cluster accommodation.
The building will comprise a basement, ground floor, and 14 upper levels, and will include approximately 341 square metres of communal amenity space for residents, Centurion said.
Meanwhile, lot 17-33 William Road is intended to be refurbished to provide 1,090 square metres of office space.
