Chart of the Day: Flexible workspace operators doubled their average lease size to 26,579 sq ft in 2018

They leased just about 11,780 sq ft on average in 2015.

This chart from Colliers International shows that average location size leased by flexible workspace operators in Singapore inched up since 2015. The 2018 YTD average size leased is at 26,579 sq ft, which is a 12.4% increase from 2017.

Average workspace leases more than doubled the average size in 2015 which is just about 11,780 sq ft.

The flexible workspace has seen consolidation of operators in the past years, the firm noted.

"We expect further consolidation in Singapore’s flexible workspace sector, with mergers and acquisitions ramping up over 2018-2020," Colliers International said.
