Chart of the Day: Industrial rents moderate in Q2

The rental index fell to 92.3%.

Rentals for industrial spaces in Singapore continued to moderate in the past quarter.

According to the figures released by JTC, the rental index for overall industrial space and multiple-user factory spaces fell by 0.8% and 0.9%, respectively.

For overall industrial spaces, the rental index went down to 92.3. The rental index has been on the downtrend since 2Q16.

On a yearly basis, the decline in the rental index is worse, down 4.1%. On the other hand, yearly decline on multiple-user factory space fell by 3.7%.
