Cuscaden Peak acquires 61.68% stake in SPH REIT

This translates to a total of $1.73b units.

Cuscaden Peak and its concert parties now own 61.68% of SPH REIT, following the closure of the latter's chain offer on 30 June.

In a bourse filing, Cuscaden Peak said it owns and controls $1.73b  units of the REIT's $2.81b outstanding and issued units. 

On 1 June, the Ong Beng Seng-led consortium declared "unconditional" its mandatory cash offer to acquire the units of SPH REIT.

SPH REIT offered a total of 402.88m units or approximately 14.36% of its total issued units.
