This year was a total turnaround for Singapore real estate investment trust (REITs) as they seemed to have gone from zero to hero, attracting investors including BNP Paribas Investment Partners to Samsung Asset Management. According to Bloomberg, Singapore REITS offer the highest dividend yields among developed markets. Know the reason here.

Consumers in Singapore continue to be pessimistic about the future of economy and the labour market as MasterCard's confidence index revealed a plunging drop in the first half of 2016.
