Frasers Property names CLD's Tan Wee Hsien as Singapore CEO

He will succeed Soon Su Lin on 1 October, as she moves into an advisory role.

Frasers Property has appointed Tan Wee Hsien as CEO of Frasers Property Singapore, succeeding Soon Su Lin on 1 October 2026.

He will join the group as CEO designate on 8 September, overseeing strategic direction, investments, operations, and development management of the unit’s retail, commercial, residential and mixed-use portfolio.

Tan is currently CEO for Vietnam & International at CapitaLand Development (CLD), where he previously served as CEO of New Business and Strategic Planning.

Before joining CLD in 2022, he was CEO of MCL Land and Director and Head of Development Property, South Asia at Hongkong Land.

Meanwhile, Soon will move into an advisory role supporting Group CEO Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi, whilst remaining a director on the boards of One Bangkok Co., Ltd. and Frasers Centrepoint Asset Management Ltd.

Soon has been with the group for more than nine years and has led its Singapore business since 2022.

Previously, she was the CEO of Development at Frasers Property in Thailand, where she led projects including The PARQ and the development phase of One Bangkok.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
