Netlink NBN Trust posts over 24% profit growth in first nine months

Its profit after tax amounted to $81.8m.

Netlink NBN Trust reported its profit after tax climbed by 24.2% year-on-year to $81.8m in the first nine months of fiscal year 2023. 

Over the same period, the company’s revenue rose by 6.5% to $299.8m, largely linked to higher ancillary project revenue, NBAP &  segment connections revenue and residential connections revenue. This is partially offset by lower Central Office revenue.

As of end-December, Netlink reported that there were 1.48 million residential connections and over 5,200 NBAP and Segment connections.

This is slightly up from 1.45 million residential connections and nearly 4,000 NBAP and Segment connections in end-December 2021.
