Private warehouse rents up by 2.1% in Q2 22
Occupancy level grew 91.4% in the second quarter of 2022.
Rents for private warehouses grew 2.1% quarter-on-quarter in the second quarter (Q2) of 2022, according to Colliers.
Occupancy rate, likewise, went up 90.9% in the first quarter of 2022 to 91.4% in Q2 2022.
Rents may have increased in private warehouses but performance in other warehouse types would vary, depending on location.
“Specifically for prime logistics (investor grade ramp-up warehouses), where vacancy rates remain tight and pre-commitment rates to upcoming supply are high, rental growth has outperformed, and there will continue to be healthy rental growth on the back of strong demand,” it said.
