Shophouse at MacPherson Road launched for sale at $7.8m

This is roughly $1,625 per square foot based on gross floor area.

A 9999-year leasehold, three-storey corner shophouse located at the junction of MacPherson Road and Jalan Wangi has been launched for sale via an Expression of Interest exercise, according to CBRE.

The submission deadline for offers is 12 p.m. on 18 June.

The property occupies a land area of approximately 2,944 square feet and has an estimated gross floor area of 4,800 square feet. It is currently fully tenanted, with a retail tenant on the ground floor and a co-living operator occupying the second and third floors.

Positioned within the Sennett Estate and a 10-minute walk from Potong Pasir MRT Station, the property is located near an industrial zone, which contributes to a steady flow of foot traffic.

The guide price is $7.8m, translating to roughly $1,625 per square foot based on gross floor area.

The site is also located near educational institutions like Cedar Girls’ Secondary School and St. Andrew’s Junior College, and retail amenities including The Venue Shoppes, The Poiz Centre, and MacPherson Mall.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
