He is a distinguished economist who fosters the interaction of business with academe. Professor Frino is an alumnus of UOW and Cambridge University, and is also a former Fulbright Scholar.

He has over 20 years' experience, working across the UK, Australia, and Southeast Asia as a security expert and Chief Information Officer. Alex sits on a number of governance panels and is an advisor for cybersecurity matters to several Chambers of Commerce across the region.
