Lee Tiong Heng and Yvaine Gan
Lee Tiong Heng is Deloitte Singapore and Southeast Asia’s Global Investments & Innovation Incentives Tax Leader and has more than 23 years of tax experience serving local, multinational and listed companies as well as private equity firm including 4 years with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).
He has extensive experience in tax consultancy and planning services including tax M&A work, corporate restructuring, cross-border transactions, tax ruling requests, taxation negotiations with the IRAS and Singapore tax incentives and grants applications from the Singapore government authorities.
Tiong Heng is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Singapore and is also an Accredited Tax Advisor with Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals.
Yvaine Gan is Deloitte Singapore’s Tax Director and Global Investments & Innovation Incentives Deputy Leader. She has over 11 years of experience engaging multinational and Singapore-based companies in various industries on the feasibility, structuring, negotiation and management of government incentives.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Yvaine was with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), the lead government agency in facilitating foreign investments to create sustainable economic growth and good job opportunities for Singapore. At EDB, a major part of her role was to customize and negotiate incentive packages for various investment activities, as well as facilitate companies in the end-to-end process of incentives application.
Yvaine has considerable experience advising senior C-suite executives on their investments in Singapore and is regularly involved in negotiating incentive packages, facilitating application processes and obtaining approvals on incentives for companies. She also advises companies with existing incentives in fulfilling investment commitments, as well as supports the re-negotiations and renewals of incentive packages.
Leo Shimada
Leo is the co-founder and CEO of Crowdonomic Media. A seasoned Finance and Strategy professional, he has a distinguished career starting with McKinsey & Company, after which he moved on to a leadership post with a Fortune 500 company. Leo is a recognised thought leader in the crowdfunding industry having given keynote speeches and panel discussions at notable industry events.
Leon Choong
Leon Choong is the Vice-President for Business Development, University Relations, Marketing and Recruitment of Kaplan Singapore. With almost two decades worth of experience in the private and public education sector, Leon has a comprehensive background in general management, business development, customer service, marketing and sales.

Additionally, Leon heads the region’s
Design Thinking Practice. He is an expert at strategically delivering, designing, managing and implementing services for software sales organisations.

Leong Soo Yee
Leong Soo Yee is head of ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Singapore. Soo Yee has over 20 years’ business experience in sales, marketing, and brand management for leading companies in the private sector. She has held notable leadership positions in financial services sector for companies such as AIA and Citibank. Prior to that she held marketing positions with United States-based Fortune 500 corporation Yum! Brands for the KFC brand as well as with global energy and petrochemical company Shell. Soo Yee graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
Leslie Ong
Leslie Ong is the Country Manager of Southeast Asia (SEA) for Tableau Software. He oversees Tableau’s business and operations for SEA, including the go-to-market strategy, channel ecosystem management and talent management. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Leslie is also responsible for driving customer success and expanding the company’s presence in SEA.
Leslie joined Tableau in March 2018 with a strong track record in helping businesses adopt technology to help them drive towards success in this digital economy. Prior to joining Tableau, Leslie held several leadership roles in VMware, Oracle and Hewlett Packard (HP).
In his most recent organisation, he held the position as Regional Director for SEA and Korea at VMware, where he was responsible for driving growth in the software-defined data centre solutions business and later in strategic partnerships.
Lester Leong
Lester is the co-founder of gush (LivinWall Pte. Ltd.) and oversees anything to do with finance, legal, marketing, HR and continually explores opportunities for corporate business development, both locally and regionally.
Under his leadership, gush has won many startup competitions across local IHLs like NUS, NTU and SMU and managed to secure funding from City Developments Limited (CDL), one of the forerunners in sustainable developments as well as a property and hotel conglomerate. Beyond his work in gush, Lester participates actively as a committee member of the Youth Business Affairs Committee (YBAC), Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI).
He also has had substantial experience in investment and Islamic banking as well as in other start-ups.
