AWS, Singapore cyber agency sign pact to boost cyber defence
Agreement sets real-time threat data sharing and joint response framework.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the Cybersecurity Agency of Singapore (CSA) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) to enhance cyber defence through real-time threat intelligence sharing, coordinated incident response, and joint technical exercises.
The agreement, announced on 22 October during the Singapore International Cybersecurity Week, formalises cooperation on cyber incidents affecting critical systems and strengthens capabilities in cloud and AI security.
CSA Chief Executive David Koh said the partnership applies AWS’s technical expertise to address risks in cloud and AI adoption.
AWS Vice President and Deputy Chief Information Security Officer Paul Vixie said the MOC expands cooperation with Singapore on digital infrastructure security.
The agreement builds on AWS’s existing work with public-sector agencies and adds an operational layer to Singapore’s cyber defence framework.
