Chart of the Day: Non-electronic exports extend slump by 9% in May

It dragged overall NODX.

The non-electronic segment of the non-oil domestic exports continued its dismal performance for the month of May, falling by 9% after the 2.9% decline in the previous month.

Civil engineering equipment parts, nonmonetary gold and pharmaceuticals decreased by 92.5%, 24.6% and 14.2% respectively, contributing the most to the decline in non-electronic NODX.

The decline in the non-electronic segment led to the 1.2% dip in overall NODX for the said month.
