Singapore accounted for 3.3% FDI projects in Dubai in 2022

The top sectors include hotels and tourism which are at 51%.

The Lion City accounted for 3.3% of foreign direct investments (FDI) in Dubai in the past year, according to an FDI markets report from Financial Times.

Data also showed that Dubai ranked as the number one destination city for FDI from Singapore.

Singapore also ranked amongst the Top 10 source countries for announced FDI projects and estimated FDI capital.

Top FDI projects in Dubai from Singapore include greenfield (80%), new forms of investments (15%), and mergers & acquisitions (5%).

The top sectors by FDI Capital from Singapore into Dubai in 2022 are hotels and tourism (51%), financial services (17%), software and IT services (14%), business services (7%), and transportation & warehousing (6%).
