As it vies to become a regional centre for liquid natural gas (LNG) in Asia, Singapore has chosen Royal Dutch Shell Plc and Pavilion Gas Pte. Ltd. as its next suppliers of the said fuel. The two companies will have exclusive rights to sell 1 million metric tons of LNG annually for up to three years, commencing in 2017. Read here to know more about the story.

It is estimated that people spend on average 45- 60 hours a week at work. In Singapore specifically, it was reported that millennials spend 48 hours per week at work on average. This has put Singapore close to the top of the longest work week in the world. Some of these people may dread the thought of working for long hours. But for some employees in certain companies, it would be a delight to work for extended hours because the company provides the ideal environment. Get to know these companies by clicking here.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
