Everbright Water secures Xinyi City wastewater project for $14.5m

The concession period of the project will last 24 years.

China Everbright Water Limited (Everbright Water) secures a $14.5m (CY71m) investment on Xinyi City Waste Water Treatment Project Phase III in Jiangsu Province.

According to a press release, Everbright Water will invest, construct, and operate the project based on a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model.

The project will process municipal and industrial waste water produced by non-chemical enterprises in some areas.

The concession period will last 24 years. The project will have a daily wastewater treatment capacity of 30,000 m3 and comply with national Grade 1A standards.

Once construction is completed, the total daily treatment capacity of the project will expand to 100,000m3.
