ST Telemedia GDC becomes first data centre to use renewable diesel

It is produced from 100% renewable raw materials.

ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) partnered with Neste to became the first data centre operator in Singapore to power its backup generators with renewable diesel.

Neste MY Renewable Diesel is produced from 100% renewable raw materials and does not require any modifications to existing energy systems infrastructures. 

Compared with fossil fuel, renewable energy diesel can reduce GHG emissions by up to 90%. 

The switch took place at STT GDS’s facilities in Singapore and was delivered via Interion Pte Ltd., Neste’s distribution partner.
