UOB inks deal with Chinese investment firms to launch RMB100 billion private equity fund

It will focus on Chongqing-based companies.

United Overseas Bank will launch Chongqing's first Sino-Singapore private equity fund, the bank said in a statement.

UOB Venture Management (Shanghai) has inked an agreement with three chines investment companies to establish the fund, which will have a target size of up to RMB100 billion.

The fund will focus on financial services firms developing their Sino-Singapore capabilities, as well as aviation companies exploring travel between Chongqing and Singapore, and other Southeast Asian countrie
