The New Black hits Singapore with rarest green coffee

It also boasts of its Impossible Collection curated by the ‘world’s rockstar roasters'.

Offering seamless coffee experience with cashless payments, The New Black bills itself as a brand new and unique coffee concept. With their new outlet at 1 Upper Circular Road, The New Black offers The Impossible Collection, which is an ‘audacious’ selection of the finest coffees and teas ever assembled.

According to Will Frith, director of Coffee of The New Black, the coffee shop does not roast coffee, they leave that to the artisans who work closely with the farmers to grow and harvest the perfect bean. Will further said that the roasters are world-renowned experts, legends, and local talents.

The New Black was founded by Malaysian Kia Boon with Singaporean business partner Delia Chua. This unique coffee shop boasts of its revolutionary design concept with cutting-edge technology serving the way the roaster envisioned - with exact precision using sleek and sophisticated technology. The coffee shop’s streamlined workbench also enables their baristas to interact with customers and deliver each bespoke cup of coffee to ‘absolute perfection’, right down to the temperature, amount of beans, water, pressure and brewing method.

According Will, The New Black ‘high-skilled’ baristas have been intensively trained in their academy in the art of extracting every nuance of flavour captured by the coffee roasters. Each cup of coffee is tailored to the customer’s specific tastes, guided by the expertise of the baristas.

The New Black plans to be positioned in the CBD’s swankiest office buildings to reach Singapore’s sophisticated consumers, as well as in select street locations throughout the city.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
