BreadTalk opens $64m International HQ at Paya Lebar iPark

Second-floor retail operational by July.

SGX-listed BreadTalk Group Limited has unveiled its International Headquarters (IHQ) at Paya Lebar iPark on Tai Seng Street. The $64.08 million BreadTalk IHQ, which commenced construction in August 2011, is slated to open its doors today on 4 June 2013, Tuesday.

BreadTalk said food lovers can take the opportunity to explore this new and exciting integrated F&B destination which will showcase the major brands by the BreadTalk Group on level one. For phase two, visitors can expect the retail floor on level two to be completed and fully operational by July 2013.

Easily accessible by MRT (Tai Seng station along the Circle Line), the BreadTalk IHQ is said by the company to be the next lifestyle and dining hub in the north-east district with popular brands under its roof, including Din Tai Fung, RamenPlay, BreadTalk, Toast Box and Food Republic.

The new F&B zone which can accommodate over 550 diners showcases a "unique seamless design which is inspired by the concept of old Chinese courtyards, or “Siheyuan” in Chinese," the group said.

To celebrate its opening day, BreadTalk IHQ will offer exclusive freebies at its BreadTalk IHQ outlets for one day only to welcome visitors. Happy Hour deals are also launched at the IHQ outlets to reward customers starting 5 June 2013. Visitors can also enjoy first hour free parking from 4 June to 31 July 2013.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
