EnterpriseSG, UOB launch AI programme for 200 F&B businesses

Six in 10 local operators use mostly standalone digital systems, a survey found.

Enterprise Singapore and UOB have launched an initiative to support at least 200 food and beverage (F&B) businesses in adopting integrated digital and artificial intelligence (AI) systems over the next two years.

The Food & Beverage AI and Digital Integration Programme provides eligible businesses with advisory support from  UOB’s SME Banking division to identify suitable digital and AI tools.

They may also adopt solutions and integration services curated by the partnership at preferential rates, with EnterpriseSG offering up to 50% funding support.

The two organisations will also conduct capability-building workshops for participating businesses.

The initiative comes as a UOB survey conducted in June found that six in 10 local F&B operators had most of their digital solutions running as standalone systems.

About one in three had yet to adopt AI tools, it added.

The programme was announced by Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry Low Yen Ling at Restaurant Asia 2026.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
