ThaiBev's earnings climb 1.9% YoY in 1Q24

It recorded an EBITDA of ฿13.8b ($700.7m).

Thai Beverage (Thai Bev) recorded a 1.9% YoY growth in its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) in 1Q24 to reach ฿13.8b ($700.7m).

It also achieved EBITDA growth in all its business segments, led by non-alcoholic beverages, which recorded a 9.8% YoY growth (฿449m; $16.7m). 

The food segment came second with a 3.4% YoY increase (฿541m; $20.2m).

Whilst posting lower growth, the spirits and beer segments recorded bigger earnings at ฿9.0b ($335.5m)  and ฿3.8b ($1417m), respectively.
