Cordlife CFO updates on CAD probe

Cordlife will assess its CFO’s continuous appointment.

Cordlife announced that it has been informed by its chief financial officer (CFO), Thet Hnin Yi, that she attended another interview at the office of the Commercial Affairs Department (CAD) on 23 January.

In a bourse filing dated 22 March 2024, the company said that Thet has been requested to assist with the investigations but has not been arrested, placed on bail, or charged with any offense as of the date of the announcement.

Cordlife said that the the nominating committee of the company and the board will continue to monitor and reassess the suitability of Thet's continued appointment as CFO, pending the development of the Investigations and in accordance with the requirements of the SGX-ST listing rules.

The company advises its shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in the shares of the company and to consult their advisers if in doubt.
