Saab Australia and ST Engineering have signed a teaming agreement to jointly develop deployable health solutions for combat field hospitals in the Asia-Pacific region.

The agreement aims to provide scalable and adaptable medical support systems for a range of operations, including military deployments, humanitarian aid, and peacekeeping missions.

It builds on an existing relationship between the two companies and targets shared interests in regional defence and emergency response markets.

According to Saab Australia, the company brings experience in delivering deployable health capabilities to defence forces in Australia and Europe. ST Engineering’s contribution will include expertise in unmanned integrated systems and automation technologies.

Both companies stated that the collaboration is intended to enhance the delivery of mobile medical care in diverse operational environments, with a focus on rapid response and consistent treatment capacity.
