Business travel to Singapore is Asia's fourth costliest

Hotel room prices in the nation fell to $337.60 per night from $347.10 (US$256) in 2018.

Singapore became the fourth most expensive location in Asia for business travel, with a typical business trip costing an average of $634.52 (US$468) per day, according to a study by ECA International.

“The cost of a business trip to Singapore has stayed relatively static due to the steady level of international business travel to the country,” said Lee Quane, Regional Director – Asia at ECA International.

He also added that the hotel room prices dropped to $337.60 (US$249) per night from $347.10 (US$256) in 2018.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong remained as the most expensive location in Asia for business travel as business travel expenses could reach an estimated $698.26 (US$515) per day. Tokyo and Seoul followed at $669.78 (US$494) and $646.74 (US$477), respectively.

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
