Coliwoo wins tender for Jalan Loyang Besar site

It will be transformed into a new co-living property.

LHN’s co-living subsidiary brand, Coliwoo, has been awarded the tender for tenancy of a state-owned property at 159 Jalan Loyang Besar.

The property occupies a land area of 380,866 sq ft with a gross floor area of 106,949 sq ft, comprising 20 two-storey buildings, four single-storey structures, and designated vehicle lots.

LHN plans to convert the property into its first resort-style chalet under the Coliwoo brand with over 350 units. It will be Coliwoo’s third-biggest property, after Coliwoo Boon Lay and flagship Coliwoo Orchard.

The property will feature swimming pools, indoor and outdoor sports zones, meditation gardens, social lounges, BBQ pits, multi-purpose halls, and event plazas.

The renovation period, estimated to last approximately 10 months, is expected to commence in H2 2025. The property is set to be operational in Q3 2026.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
