Heads up Singapore citizens: 15-day visa-free policy in China to resume
It takes effect on 26 July.
The Chinese government announced that it will resume its 15-day visa-free policy for Singaporean residents holding ordinary passports for business, tourism, family visit, and transit purposes.
Visas issued to Singaporean citizens are still valid to use, the embassy said. Visa applications that have been filed before will still be processed normally.
After China reopened earlier this year, Singapore and its neighbouring countries find it as an upside for economic gains.
Singapore has also implemented new initiatives to expand its financial collaboration with China.
