China's slowdown and a persistent slump in commodity prices have so far modesltly affected job hiring across industries. Some analysts are even pessimisric that hiring could be halted completely in the second half of the year as the full impact of these factors flows through and leaving employers far more cautious. Singapore banking sector is bucking the trend.

Consultancy firm Randstad Singapore finds that banks are still hiring to fill gaps in a range of different key areas.
