8 in 10 job seekers want employers with seamless digital recruitment process

Some will even put off working for a company that doesn’t provide such experience.

Jobseekers in Singapore are more likely to work for employers who offer seamless digital recruitment processes, data from Cisco AppDynamics showed.

According to the report, 29% of job seekers are now using applications and digital services several times a week to explore new job opportunities.

On average, Singaporeans use 5.6 digital services when looking for a job or applying for a new one. Their go-to for work hunting are job sites (76%), social media (56%), and company websites (55%).

When a company’s digital services fail to perform during the application process, job seekers (73%) are likely to put off working for the said employers.

Most job seekers  (79%) also feel anxious and angry if the applications and digital services they use to find and apply for jobs fail to perform

On the other hand, companies that provide brilliant, seamless digital experiences throughout the recruitment process., are likely to be chosen by applicants (45%).
