It will launch in Singaporein January 2026.

The Institute of Valuers and Appraisers Singapore has appointed SMU Academy to administer the Chartered Valuer and Appraiser (CVA) Programme across Singapore, Jakarta, and Bangkok.

The CVA Programme provides a development pathway for professionals in valuation-related fields, including accounting, finance, law, and economics.

Supported by SMU’s Overseas Centres in Jakarta and Bangkok, the Programme will offer two intakes each year, with a planned launch in Singapore in January 2026, and Indonesia and Thailand in July 2026.

A new hybrid format will also be introduced, comprising a combination of weekday evening classes and in-person weekend sessions.

Upon completion, participants will be conferred the Associate CVA designation. To proceed to the CVA designation, they must meet the work experience requirements and apply to IVAS.
