Qualtrics to open Singapore data centre in 2021

It will serve as the default location for users in Southeast Asia.

Qualtrics has announced the planned opening of a data centre in Singapore in 2021 as part of its growing investment in helping organisations manage and improve the four core experiences of business-customer, employee, brand, and product across Southeast Asia.

The data centre will serve as the default location for Qualtrics users in Southeast Asia, which ensures all government and organisations across the region the ability to comply with data sovereignty and security requirements.

As part of the investment in the region, Qualtrics plans to grow its local team by at least 50% next year to address increasing demand for its technologies.

“This is a critical advantage in rapidly changing environments, helping businesses achieve market differentiation by resolving and capitalising on new and emerging opportunities,” Qualtrics Southeast Asia head Mao Gen Foo said.
