Singapore individual health premiums hit $189.7m in Q4 2025
IPs cover 3 million of 3.34 million individual health lives.
New business premiums for Individual Health Insurance reached $189.7m for the fourth quarter of 2025 (Q4 2025).
Integrated Shield Plans (IPs) and their riders contributed $169.1m whilst other medical plans accounted for $20.6m, according to a Life Insurance Association, Singapore report.
Total weighted new business premiums for Individual Health Insurance reached $743.4m for YTD Q4 2025, with a 19.0% increase year-on-year.
Total new business premiums for IPs and IP riders amounted to $665.6m for YTD 4Q 2025, a 19.6% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

Total lives covered under individual health insurance policies in Q4 2025 were 3.34 million, with IPs covering 3.00 million lives (90%) and other medical plans covering 340,000 lives (10%).
The life insurance sector recorded total weighted new business premiums of $6.53b in 2025, up 11.3% over 2024.
