Singapore Facility powers Cytek’s Asia-Pacific expansion
The hub supported immunology, oncology, and infectious diseases research.
Cytek Biosciences said its Singapore facility has been a key driver of its Asia‑Pacific expansion, as the company marked one year since opening the 8,500‑square‑foot hub.
The site serves as a hub for manufacturing, service, and training for the Asia-Pacific region and global markets, according to a press release.
It also increased production capacity and reduced delivery times for cell analysis solutions, supporting research in immunology, oncology, and infectious diseases.
The site also acts as a point of contact for supply chain management to address risks from trade and geopolitics, the press release added.
Marcus Dass, Senior Vice President and Head of Global Enterprises at the Singapore Economic Development Board, said the investment adds to the local medical technology sector as Cytek works with Singapore research institutes and schools to develop talent and innovation.
Wenbin Jiang, Chief Executive Officer of Cytek Biosciences, stated that the facility changed the company’s manufacturing footprint and improved supply chain agility, providing access to instruments and technical expertise for scientists in the region.
