Venture led the gains amongst top active stocks with a 3.79% expansion.

The Straits Times Index ended 19.38 or 0.61% higher at 3, 214.05.

The top active stocks were DBS, which rose 1.26%, UOB, which grew 2.05%, OCBC Bank, which inched up 1.11%, SingTel, which remain unchanged, and Venture with a 3.79% rise.

The FTSE Mid Cap increased 0.01% whilst the FTSE Small Cap inched down 0.66%.
