Enterprise Singapore opens San Francisco Overseas Centre

The San Francisco centre is the agency's third office in the US.

Enterprise Singapore opened a new overseas centre in San Francisco to help Singapore companies enter the US and boost two-way trade and investment flows between the two countries.

The San Francisco Overseas Centre is the third Enterprise Singapore office in the US.

Over the last five years, Enterprise Singapore has seen a 23% rise in companies exploring or entering the US market.

Around 200 Singapore companies have a presence in the US across different sectors, including healthcare, fintech, consumer tech, manufacturing, food services, and retail.

The US is Singapore’s largest partner in services trade, with bilateral services trade growing by around 18% per annum from $64b in 2017 to $125.2b in 2021.

“The US and Singapore have always enjoyed close economic ties. Our new office in San Francisco will strengthen these ties further and help Singapore businesses tap the rich innovation ecosystem in the Bay area,” Lee Chuan Teck, EnterpriseSG CEO, said.
