The group reported a net profit of $12.5m.

SGX-listed First Sponsor Group Limited recorded a lower net profit of $12.5m in FY23.

In 2H23, the group also reported a lower net profit of $1.9m, primarily due to lower contributions from property development in China and reduced foreign exchange gains.

Meanwhile, the group's European property portfolio recorded a total operating income of €25.9m ($37.62) in 2H23, up 2.3% from €25.3m ($36.7m) in 2H22. This brought FY23's total operating income to €46.7m ($67.8m), marking a 9.5% increase from FY22.

The board recommended a final tax-exempt (one-tier) cash dividend of $0.031 per share for FY23, representing a total dividend growth of 10.5% from FY22.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
