Investors tap digital platforms for guidance: report

Over 80% of Singapore investors seek guidance online.

In Singapore, 83% of retail investors actively seek investment information, advice, and guidance online, according to a report by Amundi.

Retirement remains a key investment objective, with 41% of investors focusing on achieving a comfortable retirement and 34% aiming to retire early.

Social media platforms are also widely used, with 63% of investors saying they trust social media for financial education and information.

Despite this digital engagement, only 69% of investors currently invest through digital channels, trailing the regional average of 74% and the global average of 77%.
