Lion Global Investors to list Singapore’s first active bond ETF on SGX
The initial offering period runs until 23 September, with units priced at $1 each.
Lion Global Investors (LGI) will list its LionGlobal Short Duration Bond Fund (Active ETF SGD Class) on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) on 29 September.
It will be the first active bond ETF in Singapore and the first listed share class of an unlisted mutual fund on the SGX.
The fund will generally invest in bonds with investment-grade quality and may also invest or expose the fund to sub-investment-grade securities.
The ETF invests in a diversified portfolio of high-quality, short-term bonds from both Singapore and global issuers.
This marks LGI’s ninth ETF and its second active one.
The initial offering period runs until 23 September, with units priced at $1 each.
Subscriptions can be made via OCBC’s banking platforms or through participating dealers, including DBS Vickers, iFAST, Maybank Securities, OCBC Securities, and Phillip Securities.
