SGX average daily trading volume rose 12% in April 2011

Futures & options average daily trading volume rose from 224,575 to 252,401.

According to SGX, total futures trading volume rose 2% from 4.7 million to 4.8 million.

Total options trading volume grew 407% to 82,536 while Total futures & options trading volume grew 3% to 4.9 million.

Securities daily average, however, fell 4% to 1,616.
