SGX lists first Saudi Arabia-focused bond ETF
With this listing, SGX now hosts 49 ETFs.
SGX Securities has listed its first Saudi Arabia-focused exchange-traded fund (ETF), the SPDR J.P. Morgan Saudi Arabia Aggregate Bond UCITS ETF.
The fund, managed by State Street Investment Management, tracks the J.P. Morgan Saudi Arabia Aggregate Bond Index, which covers liquid US dollar- and Saudi riyal-denominated government and quasi-government bonds, including Sukuk.
The ETF was initially launched on Deutsche Börse in December 2024 and later listed in London and Milan before making its Singapore debut.
The launch comes amidst rising interest in the GCC bond markets, which have grown to more than $1.29t (US$1t) in size as of March 2025.
With this listing, SGX now hosts 49 ETFs with combined assets under management of more than $15b.
