Moove Media secures sole ad rights on buses, terminals

The seven-year deal will commence on 1 November.

Moove Media, the advertising arm of ComfortDelGro, has been awarded the Land Transport Authority’s tender for the management of advertisements on public buses, terminals, and interchanges across Singapore.

The seven-year deal, which makes Moove Media the sole operator of bus advertising in the country, will start on 1 November.

The contract expands Moove Media's advertising inventory, increasing it to around 5,800 buses from 4,500 buses and to 28 bus interchanges from 20 bus interchanges, offering advertisers broader reach and access to commuters island-wide.

Moove Media already manages ad placements in 52 MRT stations on the Downtown and Northeast Lines, as well as on taxis and at transport hubs.

It is also the only out-of-home advertising company in Singapore to offer both 2D and 3D advertising formats on buses.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
