CapitaLand Investment jumps 19 spots in world’s most sustainable corporations list

It ranked 56th out of 100 companies.

CapitaLand Investment (CLI) was recognised as amongst the world's most sustainable corporations, ranking 56th in the annual index by sustainable economy magazine Corporate Knights Inc.

This marks CLI’s 11th year of being included in the ranking.

The company’s placing in the 2023 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World index was 19 spots higher than last year.

The index lists the top 1% of corporations in the world based on their sustainability performance.

For the 2023 edition of the index, Corporate Knights Inc. assessed 6,720 global corporations with gross revenue of more than US$1b.

The magazine analysed the companies based on “25 quantitative key performance indicators covering areas such as sustainable revenue, sustainable investment, resource management, employee management, financial management and supplier performance.”
