CHART OF THE DAY: 9 in 10 Singaporeans want gov't to do more to address cost of living
Two in five said the issue was handled "poorly" by the government.
Singaporeans (89%) across all age groups believe that more needs to be done to address the cost of living in the country, data from YouGov showed.
According to 39% of Singaporeans surveyed by YouGov, the matter at hand was handled "poorly" by the government.
Apart from the cost of living, six in 10 residents also want the government to do more to address housing affordability in Singapore.
Other areas where Singaporeans want the government t focus on include jobs (45%), public health (41%), and economic management (33%).
