Gov’t names new CEOs for IMDA, NLB

Ng Cher Pong will be the new CEO of the Infocomm Media Development Authority.

The government has appointed former National Library and Archives Board CEO Ng Cher Pong as the new CEO of the Infocomm Media Development Authority, starting 15 October.

Before his current appointment, Ng was the founding Chief Executive of the SkillsFuture Singapore from 2016 to 2019, and concurrently Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Education.

Melissa-May Tam will be appointed as CEO designate of NLB from 1 October, before fully assuming the role from 1 November.

Throughout her career, she has held various leadership roles in research and analysis, focusing on enhancing Singapore’s understanding of regional and global issues and analysing security concerns.
