Hong Leong Finance launches HLF digital app

It has processed more than $1b in transactions since August 2024.

Hong Leong Finance (HLF) has officially launched HLF Digital, a mobile app that lets customers manage their finances easily, securely, and anytime.

Since its pilot in August 2024, the app has over 14,000 sign-ups and has processed more than $1b in transactions, including $600m in fixed deposits.

HLF Digital offers an integrated omnichannel experience, allowing customers to combine round-the-clock digital access with traditional in-branch services and support from relationship managers.

Customers can open accounts, place deposits, transfer funds, update personal details, and view promotions—all through an advanced encrypted platform with multi-factor authentication.

The app also offers lifestyle benefits through the SG60 KopiLah Programme, letting users redeem deals at over 60 coffee outlets, including free coffee, 60-cent coffee, 60% discounts, and 1-for-1 offers. Exclusive dining and hotel discounts are also available.

As part of the SG60 promotions, customers who sign up for the Premium SAVER Account via HLF Digital before 31 October 2025 and maintain a minimum daily balance of $6,000 are eligible for a grand prize of a pair of return air tickets to Hainan and a three-night hotel stay.

Early bird prizes include a $60 cash reward for the first 100 qualifying customers and a limited-edition Nanyang-inspired thermal flask for the first 1,000 qualifying customers.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
