Ocean Sky International’s Tan Min-Li resigns as director

After more than nine years, Tan Min-Li leaves her post in the company effective end-April.

Ocean Sky International Limited on Monday announced the resignation of its director Tan Min-Li.

Tan retires after more than nine years in the role, and will concurrently cease to be the chairman of the Remuneration Committee, and member of Audit Committee and Nominating Committee.

In a bourse filing, Ocean Sky International said Tan decided to step down as independent and non-executive director. This will take effect 30 April 2024 after the conclusion of the upcoming annual general meeting.

Independent director Chia Boon Kuah will replace Tan in the Remuneration Committee, the company said.

Prior to joining Ocean Sky International, Tan was a partner at Colin Ng & Partners LLP. She has years of experience in the legal profession, as well as in the areas of initial public offerings, regional investments, corporate restructuring, cross border joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions in the region.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
