Singaporeans' trust in businesses slightly declines

Trust levels fell by 2 points.

Amidst economic headwinds, Singaporeans' trust in businesses slightly declined by two points in 2023, the Edelman Trust Barometer showed.

Singapore is among the 15 countries where trust in business declined.

According to the report, Singaporeans’ trust level in businesses now stands at 62%, which is still high compared with other countries in Asia like Japan and Korea where trust levels further fell to 47% and 38%.

Globally, the trust level in businesses was 62%.
