940,000 HDB households to get $134m in S&CC rebates

Households with one- and two-room types will have 3.5 months of rebate.

Each of the 940,000 HDB households can receive a total of 1.5 to 3.5 months of Service and Conservancy Charges (S&CC) Rebate in FY2020 from April 2020 to March 2021, the Ministry of Finance revealed. This amounts to around $134m.

The move is part of the Care and Support Package announced during Budget 2020 to help Singaporean households with their expenses.

HDB households with one- and two-room types will have 3.5 months of S&CC rebate, whilst three- and four-room types will get 2.5 months. Five-room types will have 2 months of rebate and executive/multi-generation room types will be offered 1.5 months’ worth of rebate.
