Chart of the Day: Which region contributed the most to condo resale volume in May

Volume increased by 1.6% last month.

More than half (60.2%) of the condo resale volume in May was transacted in the Outside Central Region (OCR), data from 99.co and SRX showed.

Behind OCR is the Rest of Central Region (RCR) which contributed 24.7% to the total volume, and the Core Central Region (CCR) which had 15.1% of the transactions in May.

Overall, volume increased by 1.6% MoM, but decreased by 11.0% YoY.

May 2022’s figure was also 40.2% higher than the 5-year average volumes for the month of May.
