Residential sales volume up 35.1% in July

There were 2,086 residential units sold.

Developers saw a good turnout for the month of July after they recorded a 35.1% increase in sales volume.

According to ERA Realty Network, 2,086 residential units were sold, 1,108 were private residential units while 978 were executive condominiums.

Newly launched projects were well received, with Hundred Palms Residences selling out all of its 531 units, and Martin Modern selling 109 units.

Other top sellers include The Santorini, Symphony Suites and iNz Residence, which moved 82, 73 and 65 units respectively.

The strong buying interest observed in the first half of 2017 is clearly keeping its momentum into the second half of the year.

"Buyers are anticipating the market recovery to happen in 2018, and choosing to make their purchase now in hopes of catching the market on its upswing," ERA Key Executive Officer Eugene Lim said,

He furthered, "Also, with recent land prices trending upwards, many buyers are deciding to commit to a purchase now rather than later; as prices for these projects from recent land sales are likely to be priced higher when they are launched next year."

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
